Mobile...Cubie buddy...doesn't have capability to zoom like vgo. Cubie easier....someone moves it instead of drive...price point is $400-$500. Down side of Cubie is need VC tool and controls open at same time. Leaning toward Cubie for MS and HS. Software tried Clearsea and Zoom. Works best with lots of class changes. Elementary vgo seems to work best. Kids personalize robot in classroom which seems to be important. Put thirst on it.

Presentation...simulation of what it's like to take a student virtually on a field trip. Virtual student becomes the recorder. Example is museum. Students at museum doing scavenger hunt. Virtual student note taker.

Question...where are we going to get Internet access? Pre choose spots and/or send mi-fi if and/or use a tablet with 3G

Apply to Alternative Ed. Settings, and science and math lab settings...affordability of sending small groups to a remote location for experiment or interaction.

3 hour workshop. 45 min. Ground work. Workshop participants go out to sites in field and share back to student. Using hospital students. Come back for debrief.

Include a chaperone

Meet at the door. flipped learning model, work with proctor
